PROJECT SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVE
The project aims to support the digital and green transition of Italian and Croatian ports by providing new planning tools to policymakers, seaports, port and logistics operators and investing in five key areas:
- Energy efficiency and renewable energy
- Smart lighting systems and climate resilience measures
- Introducing e-mobility solutions into port operations
- Digitalisation of ports, including the application of digital twin technology and multimodal journey planning tools
- Improvement of port security systems
PROJECT PARTNERS:
Port Authority of the Eastern Adriatic System as lead partner and Municipality of Monfalcone, Consortium for Economic Development of the Friuli Region, Port Authority of the North Adriatic, Port Authority of Ravenna, Port Authority of the Central Adriatic, Region of Abruzzo, Port Authority of the South Adriatic, Rovinj County Port Authority, Rijeka Port Authority, University of Rijeka - Faculty of Maritime Affairs, Zadar Port Authority, Split Port Authority, Vela Luka County Port Authority, Dubrovnik Port Authority.
On 3 July 2025, in Zadar, organized by the Zadar Port Authority, an initial meeting of the project partners was held, at which the project partners discussed the implementation of individual activities within the work packages, presented their pilot projects and agreed on further steps in implementation.
